There are usually three reasons for ginseng ficus to lose its leaves. One is the lack of sunlight. Long-term placed in a cool place may lead to yellow leaf disease, which will cause the leaves to fall. Move to the light and get more sun. Second, there is too much water and fertilizer, the water will retting the roots and the leaves will be lost, and the fertilizer will also make the leaves to lose when the roots are burned. Add new soil, to absorb fertilizer and water, and help it recover. The third is the sudden change of the environment. If the environment is changed, the leaves will fall if the banyan tree is not adapted to the environment. Try not to change the environment, and the replacement must be similar to the original environment.

1. Insufficient light

Reason: It may be caused by insufficient light. If the ficus microcarpa is kept in a cool place for a long time, the plant is susceptible to yellow leaf disease. Once infected, the leaves will fall off a lot, so you must pay more attention to it.

Solution: If it is caused by lack of light, the ficus ginseng must be moved to a place where it is exposed to the sun to promote better photosynthesis of the plant. At least two hours a day of exposure to the sun, and the overall state will be better.

2. Too much water and fertilizer

Reason: Frequent watering during the management period, the accumulation of water in the soil will hinder the normal respiration of the root system, and retting roots, yellow leaves and falling leaves will occur after a long time. Too much fertilization will not work, it will bring fertilizer damage and leaf loss.

Solution: If too much water and fertilizer are applied, reduce the amount, dig out part of the soil, and add some new soil, which can help the absorption of fertilizer and water and facilitate its recovery. In addition, the amount of application should be reduced in the later stage.

3. Environmental mutation

Reason: Frequent replacement of the growth environment makes tit difficult to adapt, and the ficus bonsai will become unacclimatized, and it will also drop leaves.

Solution: Don’t change the growing environment of the ginseng ficus frequently during the management period. If the leaves begin to fall, put them back to the previous position immediately. When changing the environment, try to ensure that it is similar to the previous environment, especially in terms of temperature and light, so that it can adapt slowly.
